I graduated from Medical School in the former Soviet Union. My medical training continued on American soil, as I completed an internship in internal medicine, neurology and psychiatry at New York City's Columbia University in 1984. Then, in 1985, I began my psychiatric training at Harvard University in Boston, MA, following with a fellowship in Consultation and Liaison psychiatry at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, IL. In 1990 I founded “The Center for Progressive Psychiatry” in Chicago, where I practiced for over 13 years, helping patients with a variety of psychiatric issues. At that time, I began to integrate traditional and complementary medicine techniques that helped change many lives. In the fall of 2003, I relocated with my family to Los Angeles, CA, where I continue doing what I do best – treat people who feel stressed, depressed, overwhelmed and filled with self-doubt by implementing diverse treatment modalities that help create a healthy, more satisfying life experience. |
